Hello Loves, Summer is right around the corner. So, the social events will be moving outdoors. Keep things cool with these refreshing cocktail trends. Champagne Wall Yes, champagne walls are still going strong. I love this idea because it's a double duty element. Not only will your guests enjoy a drink, they'll love posing in front of this design feature. Take things a step further by also making this display your seating chart. That's three jobs, score! Curated Cocktails Curated cocktails can add a personal touch to any event. They're a delicious way to showcase someone's personality or represent a brand. The key is to also reference a shared experience when crafting your beverage, such as: the current season, holiday, or another element that links your guests together. Finally, give your cocktail a catchy name that ties into the theme of your party. Cocktails To Go
My favorite parting gifts are the ones people will actually use. A good favor should also feel like an extension of the party. A to-go cocktail is not only practical, but easy to DIY. So, get out your favorite drink recipe and send your guests home with a party in a glass! I hope this inspires you to try something new at your next event. Be sure your guests are 21 or over, and please drink responsibly. Until next time, Mimi☺️

Hello loves,
I can't believe we're already at the end of 2022! I hope this year has truly been good to all of you. If not, just a few more days to go😩. Let's close out with some tips to plan the perfect New Year Wedding... 1. Find Cute Ways to Incorporate the Theme: When I think about celebrating the New Year, champagne is front of mind. So, in addition to a traditional champagne toast, take it a step further with these festive champagne cork escort cards (pictured above) . 2. Put a New Spin On an Old Tradition: Keep the ceremony on theme by simply swapping out the grains of rice for a more festive option. Sparklers, confetti cannons and metallic streamers all scream Happy New Year! Just be sure to inquire with your venue about what's permitted. 3. Do NOT Neglect The Ball Drop: Evening weddings typically end between 11pm and 1am. For a big impact, why not end the night with an epic countdown at midnight. You can enhance the experience by releasing balloons, incorporating sparklers or confetti cannons as the countdown concludes (again, be sure to consult your venue prior to these arrangements). Even if the wedding runs past 12, you should still take the time to make this a special moment. 4. Photo Ops at Every Turn: From headbands and hats to glasses and noise makers, there should be props a plenty for guests to take photos. Beyond the Photo Booth, add a few items at the guest tables so everyone can join in the fun. Be sure to have your wedding hashtag displayed so your guests can get in on the social sharing of the evening. 5. Festive Fashion: While you should always establish a dress code for any wedding, formal attire adds an elegance that's perfect for a New Year Wedding. If your crowd is a little extra like us, have them dress in Black Tie or Avant-garde looks for some added flair. 6. In the Details: Wedding stationery is a subtle way to embrace the theme. Use this design element to add to the New Year aesthetic from the invitation suite down to the dinner menus. As always, I hope these tips help you plan the best New Year wedding ever! Until next time, Mimi☺️ Hello, My Loves,
It's getting quite chilly here, in NYC, as we gear up for the holiday season. Check out these practical party trends to keep it cute and cozy during your Christmas celebrations. 1. Hot Chocolate Station This one is tons of fun for kids and adults alike. The key is to start with quality hot chocolate and build from there. Add a few syrups and spices that compliment your chocolate flavor. Next, add some fun toppings to further enhance the experience. Lastly, create a cute display that's easily accessible for your guests. 2. Chili Bar This one is perfect for those extra cold, winter nights. Nothing warms the body and soul like a delicious bowl of chili. Start off with a pot of your favorite chili (incorporate multiple flavor options for some added variety). Then, add an array of toppings (cheese, fresh vegetables/herbs, sour cream etc.). Finish up with an assortment of complimentary sides e.g., French fries, naan, tortilla chips or cornbread. 3. Grilled Cheese Station I love the versatility of this one. Seriously, you can really get creative with the ingredients. Start with a selection of breads. Then, provide an array of cheeses (preferably ones that melt well). Be sure to include some fillers e.g., bacon, tomatoes, jalapeños, etc. Lastly, provide dipping options. Tomato soup, maple syrup and garlic butter are amongst the most popular. 4. Cozy Blankets & Throws I love how cute and practical this trend is. Not only will it enhance your festive decor, but, also doubles as a beautiful parting gift. Take it a step further and have your blankets embroidered for a more personal touch. 5. "Jammy" Jam This one is both comfy and cozy. Kin to the ugly sweater trend, matching pajamas are back in a major way. Enforce this festive dress code for a fun, laid back gathering. Not to mention the most epic party photos ever! If the PJ trend just isn't your thing, opt for festive holiday socks instead (perfect for a shoe-free home). I hope these trends help you get into the Holiday spirit! Find more on how to create them here. Until next time, Mimi☺️ Hey you guys, Spring has officially sprung, and outdoor party season is underway. Check out these 3 tips to level up your next garden party or springtime event. Find photo inspiration at the end. 1. Enforce a Festive Dress Code: Aesthetically speaking, a good dress code is crucial to a garden party. Just picture it, a sea of bold prints and vibrant colors flooding the room. Not only does this make for perfect photographs, but it fosters a cheerful environment. 2 Fresh Flowers for Garnishing: Nothing says garden party like fresh flowers. In addition to your centerpieces and displays, try adding florals in more unexpected ways. Fresh edible flowers atop salads, desserts, and cocktails, are always a big hit. Floral ice cubes are also a crowd favorite. It's amazing how impactful freezing fresh herbs, fruit, and edible flowers in water can be. 3. Botanical Favors: Living plants and petite floral arrangements make great garden party favors. Not only will they make the event look beautiful, your guests will enjoy a gift they can actually use. Take things up a notch by creating an on-site flower shop, allowing your guests to create their own bouquets, and floral accessories. I hope you're inspired to incorporate some of these colorful ideas into your next event! Until next time, Mimi☺️ Find more ideas here. Find more ideas here.
Hey you guys. Is anyone else a bit of a late bird? If you tend to fall behind schedule during the holidays, then, find yourself playing kitchen door bouncer... Try this pre dinner platter to please your hungry, dinner, guests. At the core, are three simple recipes (all linked below), bacon wrapped dated, zucchini chips, and garlic bread. Then, simply add one type of vegetable, a fruit (fresh or dried), a bit of cheese, and some nuts. Finish is off with some type of sauce, or dip, that compliments at least 2-3 items on the platter. The concept is derived from your basic charcuterie board or graze box. However, I find that adding cooked items, takes it to another level. Also, the majority of items can be portioned out by specified amounts, which makes shopping and prep simpler. While you can create a large platter or board for serving, I prefer using smaller vessels, for each guest (as pictured above). Recipe for Cheese Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Dates
I hope you give these recipes a try. I promise, they will not disappoint.
Until next time, Mimi☺️ Hey you guys. Today I'm sharing one of my favorite holiday drink recipes. It's like eggnog, with a twist. So if you like creamy, milk based beverages, this one's right up your alley... or chimney🥴
Hey you guys!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🎶. So, I'm sharing a few tips on how to fill your home with the holiday spirit. 1. Holiday Scents An easy way to prep your home for the holidays is to incorporate traditional holiday fragrances, Scented candles and Essential Oil diffusers are a quick way to fill the room with Christmas cheer. Another way to introduce holiday smells is with scented hand wash. Get a refreshing whiff of peppermint or pine every time you wash your hands. If you're not into traditional holiday smells, simply switching up the scents around your home will make for a pleasant surprise. I've switched from linen breeze to sandalwood and it has been quite the treat. 2. Merry & Light Lighting is a perfect way to set the mood for the holidays. Candles add a beautiful glow to any space (try going battery operated for added safety). String lights aren't just for decorating the tree. Add them around your home for a whimsical flair. Once the sun goes down, power up the lights, and relax. 3. Cozy Up With temperatures dropping, it's time to break out the faux fur and chunky, knit, throw blankets. Try adding them to your living room, bedrooms, and any other areas you like to get cozy in. Not only are they practical, they add warmth and texture to your space. Another way to get cozy this holiday season is with loungewear. Get out your polar fleece, and thermal knits, in your favorite holiday prints. Finish the look with some fluffy house slippers to stay cute, and cozy throughout the season. 4. Sounds of The Season In addition to your favorite holiday playlist, try introducing some natural sounds into the mix. Nothing says Christmas like the sound of a crackling fire. If you don't have a fireplace, turn your TV into one (via YouTube). I've linked some of my favorites below. Blizzards are also right in line with the season. I've linked some of those as well. Fireplace: https://youtu.be/L_LUpnjgPso Blizzard: https://youtu.be/7BrIJrjxVxA Blend: https://youtu.be/Q1C3WTws3g4 5. Festive Treats Lastly, bring in some holiday flavors with a few festive treats. Swap the sweets in your candy dish with some peppermint bark or candy canes. Also, try adding some holiday themed syrups and creamers to your coffee bar, to create the perfect holiday beverage. This tip is not only festive, but, delicious too. I hope these tips get you right into the spirit of the holidays☺️ Video by Pavel Danilyuk from Pexels Hello Loves!
