Summer Cocktail Ideas: 3 Ways to Present Drinks At Your Next Event

Hello Loves,
Summer is right around the corner. So, the social events will be moving outdoors. Keep things cool with these refreshing cocktail trends.

Champagne Wall
Yes, champagne walls are still going strong. I love this idea because it's a double duty element. Not only will your guests enjoy a drink, they'll love posing in front of this design feature. Take things a step further by also making this display your seating chart. That's three jobs, score!

Curated Cocktails
Curated cocktails can add a personal touch to any event. They're a delicious way to showcase someone's personality or represent a brand. The key is to also reference a shared experience when crafting your beverage, such as:  the current season, holiday, or another element that links your guests together. Finally, give your cocktail a catchy name that ties into the theme of your party.

Cocktails To Go
My favorite parting gifts are the ones people will actually use. A good favor should also feel like an extension of the party. A to-go cocktail is not only practical, but easy to DIY. So, get out your favorite drink recipe and send your guests home with a party in a glass!

I hope this inspires you to try something new at your next event. Be sure your guests are 21 or over, and please drink responsibly.
Until next time,
Mimi☺️

Floral Wedding Trends for 2023

Hello Loves,
Let's kick off wedding season with some flowers. Today, I'm sharing 3 of my favorite floral wedding trends for 2023. I'm especially excited for the third one. As someone who loves color, I'm thrilled to see which unconventional hues will be on display this year.

1. P
etite Bridal Bouquets:
Bridal bouquets will be daintier in 2023. Brides are taking a break from robust, overflowing arrangements and opting for more delicate options. These petite posies still pack a punch. However, they won’t completely steal the show. Instead, they will perfectly accentuate the bride in her beautiful gown.

2. Edible Arrangements:
Be prepared for perfectly placed produce. Wedding tablescapes will be infused with distinctive, non-floral elements in 2023. Amongst these will be carefully curated fruits and vegetables. With so many unique colors, textures, and shapes, florists are adding produce to their design arsenals. From exotic, white coconuts to simple, fresh lemons, get ready to experience food beyond your plate.

3. Fashion Forward Color Palettes:
We’ve seen so many unique color trends over the past few years, from monochromatic desert hues to dynamic pops of neon. In 2023, Wedding Florists aren’t holding back when it comes to color. Be ready for thoughtful, sophisticated color stories ranging from beautiful, bold blends to creative color blocking. We will be seeing floral arrangements with inspired shades and patterns both naturally and artificially colored. Seriously, these breathtaking arrangements could rival anything you’d find on the latest fashion runway.

Which trend are you most inspired by, and will you be incorporating any of them into your wedding?
Until next time,
Mimi ☺️

Liven Up Your Garden Party With These 3 Tips

Hey you guys,
Spring has officially sprung, and outdoor party season is underway.  Check out these 3 tips to level up your next garden party or springtime event. Find photo inspiration at the end.

1. Enforce a Festive Dress Code:
Aesthetically speaking, a good dress code is crucial to a garden party. Just picture it, a sea of bold prints and vibrant colors flooding the room. Not only does this make for perfect photographs, but it fosters a cheerful environment.

2 Fresh Flowers for Garnishing:
Nothing says garden party like fresh flowers. In addition to your centerpieces and displays, try adding florals in more unexpected ways. Fresh edible flowers atop salads, desserts, and cocktails, are always a big hit. Floral ice cubes are also a crowd favorite. It's amazing how impactful freezing fresh herbs, fruit, and edible flowers in water can be.

3. Botanical Favors:
Living plants and petite floral arrangements make great garden party favors. Not only will they make the event look beautiful, your guests will enjoy a gift they can actually use. Take things up a notch by creating an on-site flower shop, allowing your guests to create their own bouquets, and floral accessories.

I hope you're inspired to incorporate some of these colorful ideas into your next event!
Until next time,
Mimi☺️
